North Balwyn RSL Sub-Branch: remembering our members, research and writing by Alicia Cerreto, Way Back When Consulting Historians.

North Balwyn RSL Sub-Branch has served its community for over sixty years. This book celebrates its members both past and present and their commitment to the Australian defence forces in times of war and peace. It leaves behind a wonderful legacy of welcoming, shared community and mateship.  This book gives photographs and brief profiles of the RSL members commemorated on the Wall of Remembrance at the North Balwyn RSL Memorial Hall, which was started in the 1990's. North Balwyn RSL was located at 2 Centre Way Balwyn North. The building was opened in 1959 and closed its doors in June 2015 to be incorporated into the Greythorn Community Hub.
